Of German origin, I came to NZ in 1982 and settled here soon after.

I have traveled widely and enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and all ages.
Throughout my working life I have always been in roles that involved group dynamics under varying circumstances.

I started Tour Guiding in 1989 in New Zealand. Other tourism related activities included owning and operating a 47ft Sailing Boat in day charter in the Bay Of Islands for several years, operating a string of Internet Cafes in Paihia and Opua, managing a Sailing Charter Base in Turkey. In between these I have had a very busy career as television cameraman in NZ & Europe.

4 years ago I returned to tour guiding. My general and location knowledge of NZ spans the highlights and some lesser known areas of both islands. I have a keen interest in current affairs, music, photography, food and water activities.

German and English are both completely natural languages to me. I can get by with a little bit of French.

My driving record is clean after well over 1 Million kilometers of driving and I maintain a current workplace 1st Aid certificate. Licenses are 1,2,4 P-Endorsement (small & large).

My preference is for smaller, individualized groups, my upper limit would be around 15 passengers.
I offer services as driver/guide.
